Anybody with a wad of 1's can see Brandi Hawbaker's A cups close and personal. Tart of the month (by tart I mean C.B.) Brandi Hawbaker has found a new career path to fund her diminishing bankroll.

The thread that introduced Brandi to the NWP community had some incredible foresight with the title "Crazy Stripper". While TwoPlusTwo sips on some haterade Dustin neverwin Woolf grabbed his cam, drove 4 hours and did his best Takashi impersonation.

What started off over at 2+2(they locked/hid the thread), a drama of epic proportions which eventually lead NWP to birth the phrase "Captain Tom", is rightfully going to be finished at NWP.

It's been a long crazy ride with cameos by Dutch "pee pants" Boyd, blood stained mirrors, Sam Grizzle sniffing through sloppy seconds and all kinds of ballyhoo. I couldn't write a better next chapter.

Hopefully, after speaking with Brian he has a better understanding on why we pulled the story and can in fact appreciate our position. Brian I hope you can back me up here!

First, our news editor works out of Canada and is responsible for which stories we put up every day. I personally sent Ian an email asking him not to run the story, but he did not read my request before putting it up. Once we saw it we took it down!

I can assure you that advertisers had no influence on this decision. In fact, I believe that Bodog (DW sponsor) is loving every minute of the attention. Our decision was based on future dealing with poker pros who contribute to our publication. If they see Bluff running stories of this magnitude, we could be denied future interviews and editorial submissions. Basically, the risk is not worth the reward and we have decided to stay away from both the DW and Gavin stories.

I honestly did not think that taking the story off the site would be as contraversial as it has become. Saying that, we have not taken the story off of our forum and people can access the information there.

The story has been winding down the past couple of days since all the major poker publications won't touch this story with NWP's dick. Looks like one last story from Gambling911 were they basically say David Williams handled the story like ass (ya I suck at puns) and in the future he's going to need to be more media friendly if he plans on being a high profile poker celebrity.

This story has been all about the sub plots really. First DW munches ass, then we find out this is actually known among the poker players. Then even though it's common knowledge to the poker circles and now the internet poker circles, "News" publications don't go anywhere near the story. At least Gavin Griffin came in and made one post about his bent wang while David Williams gets to ignore it until it goes away. Personally I'm all about porn and around 60gb's of my 80gb hard drive is full of it so I won't cast judgement on anybody that wants to be a porn star...most guys would if they could and you know it...fetish porn is a little hard to swallow though even for me, but hey, to each his own...lol a fucking foot job...that still cracks me up. The salad tossing I could really care less about cause you throw Angelina Jolie's behind in my face I'm not going to swat it down...you throw Janet's ass in my face I'll probably gag but the old cliche "different strokes for different folks" has never been more amply applied.

Beal vs The Corporation II: Beal Strikes Back

Right now as I write this, the biggest game ever played is being continued at the wynn resort in Las Vegas. 1 big bet is more than most people's yearly salary. The game's stakes are so high, it makes the "Big Game" played at the bellagio look like play money.

For those that have been living under a rock for the past year let me fill you in about a banker, a professor, and a suicide king.

For the past few months the big buzz over the internet was the 500/1000 online headsup matches involving kidpoker, Daniel Negreanu. Add in a couple of zeros, a real casino, a billionaire banker, and a collection of the world's best poker players that call themselves "The Corporation" (no, Vince McMahon is not their manager) and you have the biggest game ever played.

The Banker, Andy Beal, set out to play the world's best poker players at the highest limits ever.

The very first entry ever about this saga, that is now in its 5th year, was posted by Razzo at RGP.

"I saw the biggest game I have ever seen. When I walked in Chip Reese was playing a Dallas banker headsup at $10,000.-$20,000. Texas hold'em. Most of the great players were spread around the room. As I stood and watched, Ted Forrest got into the game. He sat down with a rack of $5K chips($500,000). Right in front of my eyes he doubled through to $1,000,000. Chip was pumped up too. He had about $1,600,000 when I left."

Ted Forrest, ironically was not part of the initial Corporation but played the absolute biggest key in the Beal Matches.

So looks like some random whale decided poker is fun and wanted to donate just to say he played with the world's best, right? Not remotely close. The very first encounter, Beal almost ended their careers, cleaning out all their safety deposit boxes during the first part of week on his final trip of the year, sticking them for 5.5 million dollars. On the last night, The Corporation borrowed a million from various sources and put their hopes on Howard Lederer, the professor, the next Morning. The pros divvied up the bankroll and were playing the night before and Beal broke Doyle off for another 200k. That game broke up and Beal went off to bed, the Pros continued to play through the rest of the night. Later when Beal came back down, Forrest and Chau Giang (I love Pokah) were still playing and Ted Stepped on no sleep and recovered 4.3 million and Lederer finished him off to restore the corporations once empty deposit boxes. All sorts of "fish tales", more like "donkey tales", about how the rich banker would come down and the big bad corporation would send him home to Texas, etc. It was all mostly harmless hearsay until there was an article in the NY Daily News called "Millions From Texas" that fueled the already ramped prattle and painted Beal out to be nothing but whale flavored shark food.

"Word is that Beal, who did not return phone calls, is down $40 million. But journalist/author James McManus, who's writing a magazine piece about the Beal game, says "Beal is certainly down, but that number is in dispute." McClelland says Beal was here for a day and a half his last visit, during the World Series of Poker. 'He lost $5 million and said, 'I'm going home.'

'His latest thing is he's 'never coming back,' says Doyle Brunson. 'But he's said that before.' " - "Millions From Texas"

Beal was so rattled by this article, he wrote an open letter to The Corporation and had Barry Shulman publish it in card player.

"No mention was made that I won more than $10 million in the largest game ever played, $100,000-$200,000 limit hold'em, on May 12 and 13, 2004. No mention was made of the fact that most of the above-mentioned professional players have substantial overall individual net losses after having played many hours against me. I concede that I am a net overall loser in the Bellagio games, although the extent of my losses is often exaggerated and mischaracterized....

....Come to Dallas and play me for four hours a day and I will play until one of us runs out of money or cries uncle. If your play is so great and your wins have been as large as you claim, you should have plenty of bankroll and be jumping at the chance to come and play another $100,000-$200,000 game and win a lot more money. I should add that you can bring your own independent dealers and your own cards, and can play in a different location of your choice every day if you wish. You should provide a slate of any six or more of the above players and I will pick from your slate who plays. Observers should be free to attend in order to record exactly what happens at this game, so it won't turn into another fisherman's story." - Andy Beal, from The World's Biggest Poker Game"

Naturally Doyle responded in an open letter in card player.

"As far as your challenge goes, we concede that you have more money than all of us put together. So, why would we want to get into a $100,000-$200,000 game in which we would be underfunded? We are pros, and we know the disadvantage of this. So, here is what we propose:

1. We will raise a $40 million bankroll and post it along with yours. (Everything is contingent on raising the money, but I think it is very realistic that we can expand and raise it.)

2. We will play 30K-60K. If either side loses half of its post-up money, it can raise the stakes to $50,000-$100,000. There is an old axiom that applies here: Get out the way you got in!

3. We will choose who plays and when.

4. We prefer to play in Vegas, the gambling capital of the world. Most of us live here, and what would we do in Dallas when we weren't playing? This is negotiable. The first three points aren't. Andy, I'm chuckling as I write this closing paragraph. If Bill Gates came to Dallas and wanted to flip coins for $100 million per flip for four hours a day until one of you ran out of money or cried uncle, would you do it? Beal went on to kinda accept the offer, however, nothing ever materialized until just recently.

Now in the 3 open letters that card player published, you may notice that it was a cut throat battle to even decide on how and where the game will be played, or "home court advantage" if you will.

"Part of the edge that pros have over everyone else, at least as important in pure Super/System-Sklansky/Malmuth type card playing skill, is KNOWING HOW TO GAMBLE. "Making the game" is what they sometimes call it. It's the art and science of knowing what circumstances give one side or the other the advantage, and handicapping accordingly. When you hear the story about Doyle Brunson winning a humongous golf bet when he was no longer able to walk without crutches, it was knowing how to make the game, not skill at golf, that won him the money. The need that Beal had to set the record straight about the previous matches, birthed "A banker, aprofessor, and suicide king: Inside the Richest Poker Gameof All Time" by Micheal Criag.

The book itself was received well by the poker community and gave excellent insight to not only the games themselves, but the psychological aspects of it as well. It also accomplished what Beal set out to do and "dispel some of the misconceptions" about what actually happened in the games.

Beal vs The Corporation II is currently being played at the Wynn Resort.

According to Jennifer Harman, The Corporation II is a slight adjustment of the original Corporation with the addition of a few "unknowns".

The latest Bill Fillmath, episode 7, is one of the greatest they've done by parodying a match between Phil Hellmuth and Annie Duke.

In the early stages of the poker boom Annie Duke was EVERYWHERE and was hyped up to be THEE woman of poker. UB put her on the payroll, she was on every segment of every WSOP espisode, was invited to the first ever WSOP Tournament of Champions and actually there were rumors about a reality show staring her and/or a sitcom based on her story where star Janeane Garofalo would portray her.

Since poker grew and Annie's poker career didn't the attention has been moved from her to hotter players. Hot regarding both poker ability and physical looks...

Annie was regarded as thee-best woman player (and most attractive) but now we all know now that just simply wasn't the case at all.

Not to mention not only are there hotter and better players out there....Annie's aging probably didn't help her keep the attention she once had :(

The biggest irony is while the media was portraying Annie to be the Poker Queen, over on RGP was a vile mud slinging contest between her and Daniel Negreanu. Okay, Annie wasn't slinging mud, she was just the primary target. Eventually her brother Howard Lederer wrote an open letter to Daniel and her husband at the time emailed Daniel asking to meet him behind the school bus after recess.

Most of the references in the video are stories that came from Negreanu in his old RGP days of "Annie PUKE"...there are literally hundreds of them so I'll just link you to the one that the Episode 7 references.

ROUND III

Last night the ever so hyped up match Heads Up Hold'em match between the new crew "GCC" and the olde tymer beaten down champ Daniel "kidpoker" Negreanu finally took place after weeks of build up. Negreanu has a ton of money transfer issues and sat down with his full 50k buy in for DreamClown to take a swing at.

DreamClown took a slight early lead but Daniel went on a complete tear and got that fucking clown down to 10k in under 40 minutes before DreamClown reloaded to $250,000.

The match was one sided with the clown going down 80-100k before turning things around, but once the clown reloaded to 250 he rarely got above 260.

According to Negreanu's Diary he played DreamClown for "4.5 hours, and about 1000 hands. I was winning for the majority of the session, at my peak up about $100,000 and finally quitting $67,000 to the good", ending the session +67 bb's.

DreamClown, Negreanu, Neverwin and countless others are at no loss for opinions about this match, how they both play and the future outcomes.

From what I saw, it was just pwnage by Negreanu and I see only one thing that may/may not be the glaring weakness in his HU Limit game. Dreamclown came out firing at every pot and Negreanu played the old school value game with big hands, however, he just check called a lot with his big hands, which to me has -ev written all over it. Negreanu is very vocal about some of DreamClowns holes regarding his fire all cannons style and never folding preflop but yet never 3 betting either...he only 3 bet twice and both times Negreanu typed "misclick?".

Negreanu fondly looks back at last nites match as serving his Trash Talking youngster some humble pie, saying that he pwn3d him and will continue to do so.

"Dreamclown cannot beat me unless he adjusts his approach. His view on the game is flawed and easily exploited. If he continues to play me he will eventually lose everything that he has. Not being mean, just being realistic." - KidPoker

Daniel goes onto say that he wishes to continue to play against the world's best HU Limit players but says DreamClown is not considered in that class.

So whats the word at the GCC Camp?

One GCC rep Eugeneel (famed for spamming and beating up on Phil Hellmuth) says he "can't wait till the next match and am extremely confident DN is outmatched. I just wish I could take a bigger cut of the game". Shocked, Negreanu said he'd fly them out to Vegas and put them up in a nice hotel if they'd play for a million, which was instatnly rejected by GCC.

Sansone, the actual player in the GCC that is playing the matches, still thinks that not only is he the very clear favorite over Negreanu but even Lagerborg is a better player then kidpoker:

"Lagerborg is a far better HU LHE player than Negreanu. DN and I are about even at this point swings-wise; running two pair is running two pair. But Negreanu is a rag doll...

Also, I busted Lager from pokerroom. I outplayed him. But I also ran pretty good against him. So despite taking over 300k from him, I'd still chose Negreanu over him as my hu opponent. It is possible to lose 68k to an easy, transparent player at 500-1k. If Lager had Negreanu's cards I probably would have lost between 80 and 100k....

I do think he is smart enough to improve. I never said he couldn't improve. I said he was simply a rookie at what I have done for 3 years. I think he will adjust. But he has miles to go before he adjusts enough that it wouldn't be worth playing him. MILES. In fact, as much room as there is for improvement, I don't think he'd ever come that far. He is too timid at heart to be a hu LHE player." - DreamClown

And to the winner of this back street brawl, big time online highstakes limit pro, Neverwin lurks in the shadows waiting for his swing at...well one of them.

Neverwin feels that he can felt them both, however, DN is the clear better player compared to the clown and he's "kicking himself" for not felting DreamClown before Negreanu does.

"here is my analysis, dreamclown is severley outmatched and outclassed here, unless he gets a horseshoe up his ass, he is going bust" - Neverwin.

Neverwin went on to say that he wouldn't go into a deep analysis about their strenghts and weaknesses because of his future plans but he did comment that:

"Anyone like myself who understands all the fundamentals of limit holdem heads up can see that DN is the better player in the long run. For the same reason I know I am the favorite over Dreamclown in the long run also. But Dreamclown is only 22 with a lot of talent, but look what happens when he messes with the big boys. Even if he comes back, he still has many things to learn. Anyone can win a lot of money in the short run, only time will tell whether it was luck or skill."

As for Round 4 of Rocky III, When Daniel made last nites exit he said he "might" play tonight but in his diary he said the match may take part this afternoon.

Personally, if they run even in cards, I'm fully expecting Rocky to knock Mr T out.

Kidpoker VS "Dreamclown"

Daniel "kidpoker" Negreanu has been known for years for feuding with anyone and everyone and he shows no signs of slowing down. A while back when he was the "poker ambassador" for wynn wynn he set up an open Heads-up challange to literally anybody in the world just as long as they agreed to certain terms and games. Since Negreanu left wynn the matches were slowly faded away but Negreanu's thirst to fued has been far from quenched.

Just recently KidPoker's Full Contact Poker became a "skin site" for the Ongame network (same network as pokerroom.com, hollywood poker and others). What this means now is Daniel will be playing online poker exclusively on his site on the ongame network. Ongame isn't as popular as Ultimatebet or Party Poker but it's pretty decent size and many good "unkown" players play there due to it being the first and one of the only sites that is mac compatible. Currently they host the largest limit game out there at $500/$1000.

In today's poker world there is absolutely no love loss between "live" pros and "online" pros and the online pros are constantly trying to gain credibility by taking on Phil Ivey and any other player that will sit down with them regardless who they are. The fact that online players still haven't found a way to dominate live tournaments like they're counterparts or even consitently make good showings just adds to their inferiority complex.

The latest Random feud with Negreanu is a "heads up"

First let me give you some background info on "Dreamclown"

With the emergence of the new 500/1000 limit games headsup specialists have surfaced to ongame. The reigning big dog at ongame was a guy called Lagerborg who took one guy I know of for 300k and has been speculated to work for ongame and "cheat" because he dominates. "Dreamclown" tore into Lagerborg so hard Lagerborg flat out refuses to play "Dreamclown" on ongame because he thinks "Dreamclown" can see his cards.

Round 1 and 2 of Kid Poker vs "Dreamclown" went to "Dreamclown" after cleaning out Kid Poker and saying

"kidpoker/negreanu just showed up at 500-1k with 20k. i took 18 from him and said rebuy, and he whined and left.

anyway, he was not good, so i will play him continually. "

Apparently either this is a seperate incident or the same one, but Negreanu refused to reload leaving himself with 5bb's and "Dreamclown" left saying he wasn't going to risk a card catching contest for $5,000, then Negreanu did it again the next time after sitting with 30k, getting down to 8k and said he couldn't reload right away and to play on.

Notice I keep using the Dr Evil quote fingers when I say "DreamClown" and "Headsup".

Well it's because "DreamClown" is not a person, it's a "they". It's a team of 4 people that play under the same name and one of the members and apparently head PR guy is eugeneeel who is known for his relentless forum spamming and beating up on Phil Hellmuth (lol yeah, like that's an accomplishment).

60 Million Dollar winner-take all touranment

All over the internet this week was buzz about the largest first place prize in the history of any sporting event.

According to MSN Fox Sports, 6 Players are invited for a $60 million dollar winner take all tournament. This is part of a deal between FSN and Mansionpoker.net. This will be a three-year deal with prizes reaching to $75 million in 2007 and $100 million in 2008 for the one-day competitions at the Crown Casino in Melbourne, Australia.

Oh it gets better. Hearsay on internet forums people were spreading the rumors that this is not a free roll and players are actually buying in for 10 million a piece. Possible, but very improbable. People speculated that the players were being backed by bored millionaires or even scrambling to get sponsers.

I knew something was up when Jen Harman, Todd Brunson and others randomly up and left their current chipstacks at the Day 1 of the WPT stop 5 Diamond Classic at the bellagio, where Jen Harman even made it to day 2 after she left.

In an interview with Todd Brunson he confirmed it was to sign some papers for the 60 million dollar tournament but was far from optimistic about it.

Yeah people honestly thought that a poker player would get 10 million dollars per person in sponsers...they would look like fucking nascar drivers.

After watching the brunson interview I knew they weren't putting up 10 mil each, so after a ton of digging I found out that it is indeed a free roll and indeed all 100 million is being supplied by a new offshore poker site, Mansionpoker.net, which is backed by an Indonesian tobacco family.

Oh it gets better.

This is going to be held at the Crown Casino in Melbourne, Australia...yes Australia so you know where this is headed....2005 WSOP Champion Joseph Hachem is set to be on of the contenders.

I'm thinking he's going to be a little out classed because Phil Ivey is already confirmed, in addition to Jen Harman and Todd Brunson.

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!!

Papers have been signed, deals have been made, and domes are planning to be built....*rewind*....Domes are planning on being built?....yes a Poker Dome to watch poker players battle it out is currenlty in development.

In addition to the battledome, FSN is going all out to make sure poker is turned into a 3 ring circus. They have been experimenting with many formats including a cone of silence that will be lined with one-way mirrors and cameras that will allow an audience to get into the players' heads but won't allow the players to gather any information about the game from those watching. The network also plans to embed electronic chips in the cards that will let viewers know which cards are still in the deck and which are in the discard pile. "Electronically and visually, we are pushing poker into the visual realm of NASCAR", says a product placement website.

What will be in placed for the first tournament will be speed poker.

According to Online Poker News:

"The show will feature fast-paced poker action, with only 15 seconds for players to make their decisions, meant to keep the 20-something demographic glued to their screens. FSN believes that the new quickened poker pace will translate to up to 45 hands viewed per hour."

With high hopes for the main event in particular, FSN plans to air the $60 million affair on July 12th, one day after Major League Baseball's annual All-Star Game

Big story of the week, Paul Phillips banned from 2+2 forums by Mason Malmuth...you can't make this shit up.

It all started over the World Series of Poker Tournament of Champions...so how did a random tournament that Paul Phillips not even play get him banned from the biggest poker forum and biggest poker book publishing company on the planet?

Pepsi gave Harrah's 2 million for this shindig. Harrah's made the qualifications quite clear to the players, however, at the last minute Pepsi said they wanted to add Hellmuth, Chan, Doyle and others to the TOC just because it would make for good TV. Naturally Negreanu flipped out, most people are saying it has everything to do with KidPoker not being invited, however many other pro's also took the stance that it was unfair to the people that actually had to qualify for the "free roll".

Ironically Hellmuth did place 3rd taking a good size of the "free" prize pool and Mike "the mouth" won it. There was much verbal tomfoolery at the table and will guarantee to be good TV, especially when Steve Dannenmann gave Hellmuth a stuffed donkey, then later told him that nobody should buy his shit because he's a "punk"...yeah Steve Dannenmann said that. Cardplayer not only logged how the hands went but how the verbal warfare went down.

Meanwhile, Daniel in typical fashion, wrote a huge "contraversial" blog about it that sparked many'a conversations across all the poker boards...one in fact was made by Paul Phillips over at "4" that got 50 or so replies, then randomly deleted by Mat Sklansky with no warning or explination. The funny thing was it wasn't that bad of a post at all, I actually read it, but he did say if anybody deletes it he's gone.

Thread Deleted, Paul Pissed and responded making an animal house reference to 2+2 as nazi's. Mason Malmuth then PM'ed Paul DEMANDING a personal Apology both publically and privately. In typical Paul Phillips fashion, Paul apologized to Mason for Mason being so lame, which Mason then banned Paul, only later to run a poll where Phillips overwehlmingly won 4:1. Paul's band was broken inconsequentially because there's literally zero chance Paul will post again there.

I asked Paul in his Live Journal where to now because he gave both RGP and now 4 the big FU and also asked if he was starting his own forum ala Negreanu, which Paul said not a chance. The question of "where now" has been reposted but still no reply from him. The only viable place now is Full Contact.

Daniel is such a busy man these days but that's not the reason why he quit on Wynn Casinos. Daniel was the "poker ambassador" and on wynn's payroll but it was very important that Daniel play exclusively at the Wynn but that's just not going to happen since the big game didn't get moved over to the wynn (it has been speculated that was one of the motives for Daniels relationship with the Wynn in the first place).

Non Negreanu related news...well sorta

When tunning into Bravo watching D level celebritys playing poker like complete donkeys you will no longer hear Phil Gordon doing commentary.

According to an article in the Poker News Daily, Gordon was asked what both the high point and the low point of his career included.

"PND: What was the lowest point and highest point in your poker career?

Phil Gordon: Highest point was winning Bay 101.

Lowest point of my poker career was leaving Celebrity Poker Showdown. I loved doing the show."

I said it was "sorta" non Negreanu related, however, Daniel made a couple of replies and posts regarding this and also made a couple of posts that implied that he was in talks about taking over Gordon's spot, among many other offers to the point we will be "sick of seeing him on tv" next year. Negreanu rarely discusses something that doesn't involve him directly in his forums and the fact he replied to this thread not to mention he made a poll about what show appeals more to "the average viewer".

Prahald Donk-ing away a ton of money.
For those that don't know, Prahlad Friedman is regarded as the world's best online player and is constantly going head to head with Phil Ivey at the highest stakes at Full Tilt Poker.

This week he ran into I_knockout_u dropping around a rumored 300k. Prahald got really pissed when I_knockout_u up and split. Nobody seems to have a clue who I_knockout_u is. Neverwin forums speculated Model/Poker Player and Circle of Outlaw member Patrik Antonius or Fabrice Soulier.

Jennicide Donking away 30k out of her 100k bankroll 1-200 limit headsup...or did she?

Railbirds reported at neverwinpoker that Jennicide (known highstakes female poker player and Battle of the Ages contestent) donked off 30k at 1/200 limit heads up, and denied doing so. This eventually prompted Jennicide to show up and she reports that "a friend" played on her account and took steamed away 30k out of her 100k bankroll that was "just collecting dust". In typical neverwin fashion the thread ends up discussing what Jennicide looks for in a man and other non-of-your-business shit like her weight. The good that came out of this thread is she doesn't care if her boyfriend is either short and/or poor, which works out great for me...but I don't do chubby chicks.

I'd ask Varkoyni for an autograph....then when I read the name I'd tell him I mistaked him for a world champion like Chris Moneymaker.

I'd ask Scotty Nguyen if he knew Kung Fu and when he told me he didn't, i'd start rubbing his glorious mullet....just to see if it's hairier than Annie's bush...singing "Rock you like a hurricane" the entire time.

I'd ask Mike Mizrachi just how legit is he and is he going 2 quit, then flash him the vanilla ice gang sign while wearing my clothes backwards like Kris Kross...uh huh, uh huh.

I'd try to get Layne Flack drunk enough to try to fuck Kathy Liebert....then set the over/under on the BAC it would take to 4.0.

Speaking of Greenstein, I recently read in Josh Arieh's blog that he and the count where there when the Aviator club was held up. Josh was so scared he almost jumped out the window down to 25 feet below while Ivey was under the table saying he needed to double up this hand...I wonder what Greenstein was doing....

The world is divided into two parts: Things that are Rocks and Rings, and things that are not.

Most of the first few Blog entries are just going to be revised forum posts, mostly from my original tool report thread. The best jopke we have running are all of the Antonio Esfandiari jopkes, so let me lay the ground work.

1st off Paul Phillips is the funniest guy in poker and his blog is usually what I report on the most, but this was one of the best (next to the dutch boyd post).

The first Tool Report was when Paul Phillips pointed it out how 1.4 Antonio is. Later Paul would go on to say that Magic Antonio said the All In article (where he states the official Antonio Esfandiari Clubbing Rules) went out without his approval...but he's still on the hook for Rocks and Rings.

We started our own 1.4 thread. One of the highlights was me emailing Antonio the Logo I created for his Rocks and Rings society.

After a long day of watching poker on NBC, FSN, Travel, ESPN, Bravo and others, millions of people log on to poker sites with dreams of becoming the next Phil Ivey. This works out great for people that make their living from playing poker. Poker rooms and poker sites are now flooded with new fish just dumping their money because they saw Gus Hansen go all in with T7o on last nights WPT Episode.

However, there are draw backs to having this many people casually coming into poker just because it's so fashionable. Mob mentally fueled by envy and general bitterness has over taken what was once the best (and free) way of becoming the next poker ninja.

Due to poker's ever expanding popularity, Top tier professional poker players are now considered pop culture icons and are treated as celebrities. They now have added benefits such as getting paid for appearances and endorsements, however just like celebrities, their lives are now public domain and they are under the same looking glass as *insert latest celebrity fuck up here*

Everything they say, do and wear is now scrutinized by thousands of people on a daily basis.

Long are the days were you could log onto 2+2 or RGP and read daily posts from people like Mike Caro, Doyle Brunson, Howard Lederer, Paul Phillips and many more top players, writers and theorists. World Class pros have been driven away from internet forums and newsgroups by worthless trolls spewing out drivel and personal attacks. People like Annie Duke and Daniel Negreanu's poker advice were met by attacks on personal hygiene and sexual orientation insults.

I wish I was going to tell you that this blog will have integrity and be dedicated to taking the high road of knowing your own business, however, quite the contrary. This blog exists exclusively for exploiting the crazy antics, tomfoolery and ballyhoo of the poker celebrities we have all came to know and love (or in Dutch Boyd's case, love to hate).

Why? Because enquiring minds want to know.
